John is a graduate of University of Guelph (B.A. Hon.) and University of Toronto (M.A.) specializing in visual perception, memory, cognition, and psychophysics.
He worked in and with Toronto-area advertising and PR agencies as a copywriter, illustrator, designer, and art director, then started his own visual communications agency in 1985.
Active as writer, video producer, editor, web designer, industrial designer, illustrator, salesman, inventor, builder, choir director, bass-baritone singer, musician (flute, bass, guitar, keyboards). John’s other passions are to design and build Architectural Digest-quality heirloom furniture.
